Hyperliquid to unlock 9.92M HYPE tokens worth $312M on Nov. 29, first release since TGE

Hyperliquid will conduct its first token unlock on Nov. 29 at 15:30 Beijing time, releasing 9.92 million HYPE tokens valued at $312 million, representing 2.66% of circulating supply, Tokenomist data show. This marks the initial unlock since the project's token generation event in November 2024. According to the official Medium post, core contributor tokens remain locked for one year post-TGE, with the majority of vesting scheduled between 2027 and 2028. On-chain monitor @mlmonchain identified that the team unstaked approximately 2.6 million HYPE tokens, worth around $85.8 million, roughly 29 hours prior, though no official statement regarding the unlock process has been released.
