Russian crypto exchange Grinex hit by cyberattack, about 13 million USDT reported stolen

Grinex, one of Russia's largest cryptocurrency exchanges, said it suffered a cyberattack that caused losses of about 1 billion rubles (roughly $13 million) and forced the platform to suspend trading services. On-chain data indicates around $15 million in USDT was withdrawn and subsequently swapped into Ethereum or moved via TRON. Grinex has previously been linked to Garantex, the crypto exchange seized by U.S. authorities.
