North Korean hackers use fake Zoom meetings in crypto scams

The cybersecurity nonprofit Security Alliance has warned that North Korean hackers are conducting cryptocurrency scams using fake Zoom meetings, according to industry outlet Wu Blockchain. Researcher Taylor Monahan reported that these operations have resulted in losses exceeding $300 million. According to the findings, the attacks often begin with compromised Telegram accounts that lure victims into downloading malware designed to steal passwords, private keys, and other digital assets.
