Dormant Ethereum whale moves 69,878 ETH worth $157M to three new wallets after six years

ChainCatcher reports that on-chain analyst Yujin flagged activity from a long-dormant Ethereum whale. The address, which obtained 69,400 ETH during Ethereum's 2015 initial issuance, became active after six years and, around four hours ago, consolidated and transferred 69,878 ETH to three newly created wallets. At the issuance price of $0.311 per ETH, the original 69,400 ETH was worth about $21,600; the holdings are now valued at roughly $156 million, with the transferred amount estimated at $157 million.
