Ethereum Gas Limit to Rise in 2025 With Refined Growth Strategy

Ethereum's gas limit is expected to continue rising next year with more targeted growth and reduced magnitude, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin said on Nov. 26. One potential scenario involves raising the gas limit by 5x while simultaneously increasing gas costs by 5x for operations with relatively lower processing efficiency, Buterin stated on social media.
