ETH in Ethereum PoS Entry Queue Reaches 3.07M, Highest Since July 2023

Validatorqueue data show 3,068,886 ETH worth about $8.98 billion are queued to join the Ethereum PoS network as of January 23, the highest level since July 2023, with an estimated activation delay of roughly 53 days and 7 hours. The rise, which began on December 26, 2024, is mainly attributed to large-scale staking by Ethereum treasury firms and institutions such as BitMine, which has staked a total of 1,943,200 ETH valued at around $5.69 billion, on-chain data show. The Ethereum PoS exit queue has been cleared, and there are currently no large-scale redemptions from staking.
