DTCC to pilot tokenized securities trading in July, targeting October rollout

DTCC, the securities custodian overseeing more than $114 trillion in assets, plans to begin a pilot for tokenized securities trading in July, with a full launch targeted for October. The initiative includes participation from more than 50 traditional finance and crypto firms, including BlackRock, JPMorgan, Goldman Sachs, Nasdaq, Circle, Ondo, Ripple Prime and others.
