Crypto liquidations hit $655M in 24 hours as shorts bear the brunt

ChainCatcher cited Coinglass data showing $655 million in crypto positions were liquidated over the past 24 hours. Long liquidations totaled $181 million, while short liquidations reached $475 million. By asset, Bitcoin saw $30.2 million in long positions and $253 million in short positions wiped out. Ethereum liquidations included $31.7 million in longs and $105 million in shorts.
