Circle mints $3.25B USDC on Solana in a week, the biggest weekly stablecoin issuance of 2026

Circle has issued $3.25 billion of USDC on Solana over the past seven days, marking the largest weekly stablecoin mint of 2026. The issuance was executed in repeated $250 million tranches, with single-day minting reaching $750 million. USDC supply on Solana has now climbed past $8.64 billion. More than $10 billion in USDC has been minted on the chain over the last month. The surge comes as the total stablecoin market reaches $317 billion, up $8 billion in Q1 2026 even as the broader crypto market contracts. USDC stands at $77.5 billion in supply and continues to chip away at USDT's dominance.
