CFTC: Coinbase's foreign affiliate can offer select Deribit perpetual futures to U.S. clients

The U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission said Coinbase Financial Markets may make certain Deribit perpetual futures products available to U.S. customers through its foreign affiliate structure. CFTC staff added they would not recommend enforcement action related to using customer-owned digital assets and stablecoins as collateral, provided specified conditions are met.
