Bitcoin Falls to $81,000, Triggering Liquidations of Major Long Positions on Hyperliquid

Bitcoin briefly fell to $81,000 on Nov. 21, triggering liquidations among large long position holders on Hyperliquid, Hyperinsight data show. A whale known as "CZ's counterparty" saw partial liquidations on ETH and XRP longs, recording $7.3 million in losses and bringing unrealized losses to $37.1 million on a $220 million position portfolio, remaining the largest ETH and XRP long on the platform. The current largest BTC long on Hyperliquid added nearly $10 million to average down within the past hour, maintaining a position of approximately $117 million with $18.14 million in unrealized losses. Since 15:30, 35 addresses with positions exceeding $1 million opened new BTC positions on Hyperliquid, with 29 taking long positions.
