BTC Touches $71,000 as Spot ETFs Log $145M Inflows Amid Rate Cut Bets

Bitcoin briefly touched $71,000 and Ethereum reached $2,150 as spot BTC ETFs recorded $145 million in net inflows yesterday following $371 million on Friday, while spot ETH ETFs saw $57 million of inflows, halting three consecutive days of outflows, QCP said. Easing U.S.–Iran tensions and weaker jobs data have strengthened expectations for a March rate cut, with the Coinbase BTC premium narrowing to 9 bps and the Crypto Fear & Greed Index at 9, indicating extreme fear. The BTC/ETH ratio is holding at 33–34, and implied volatility has fallen but remains elevated, with realized volatility likely to stay firm in the near term, QCP added.
