Bloomberg: Baby Boomers Quietly Put $500M Into Spot Bitcoin ETFs During Market Slide
Bloomberg ETF senior analyst Eric Balchunas said on X that U.S. Baby Boomer investors have quietly funneled about $500 million into spot Bitcoin ETFs as markets face sustained pressure and recurring macro headwinds. The added demand has helped narrow the funding shortfall seen since the start of the year. Even so, available data still shows year-to-date net flows for Bitcoin ETFs slightly in the red, suggesting many investors remain in wait-and-see mode. The recent inflows point to rising long-term allocation interest from traditional investors.
