Block's Cash App rolls out USDC payments to 60 million users

Block is expanding USDC stablecoin payments on Cash App to its 60 million users, with the feature currently available to roughly 25% of accounts. The company expects to complete a full rollout to 100% of users later this week. Once enabled, customers can deposit and withdraw USDC and use it to settle payments. The service supports USDC transfers on Solana, Ethereum, Polygon and Arbitrum. CEO Jack Dorsey said the move reflects rising user demand for stablecoin functionality, prompting Block to recalibrate its approach.
