BlackRock iShares Files for Nasdaq Listing of Staked Ethereum ETF ETHB

BlackRock's iShares has filed an amended S-1 with the SEC to list the iShares Staked Ethereum Trust ETF (ticker: ETHB) on Nasdaq. The trust will hold ETH and participate in Ethereum staking through third-party validators including Coinbase, allocating approximately 70%–95% of assets to generate staking rewards while maintaining grantor trust status for U.S. tax purposes. Redemptions operate on a 40,000-share basket mechanism and may be settled in cash or physical ETH, with creation and redemption access restricted to authorized participants. The trust charges a 0.25% annual fee, reduced to 0.12% for the first $2.5 billion in assets during the first 12 months after listing, SEC filings show.
