Bitmine values assets at $14.2B, added 32,977 ETH in final week of 2025
Bitmine disclosed on Jan. 5 that its combined crypto assets, cash and potential project investments reached $14.2 billion as of 9 p.m. ET on Jan. 4, with holdings including 4,143,502 ETH (3.43% of total supply), 192 BTC, a $25 million equity stake in Eightco Holdings (NASDAQ: ORBS), and $915 million in cash. Chairman and Fundstrat analyst Thomas Lee said the firm is constructive on Ethereum in 2026, citing increased U.S. government support for crypto, Wall Street adoption of stablecoins and asset tokenization, rising identity-verification needs in the AI era, and faster adoption by younger generations. Lee added that Bitmine purchased 32,977 ETH in the final week of 2025 despite slower market activity, with the firm's analysis indicating it is accumulating ETH faster than other Ethereum digital-asset reserve institutions and remains the world's largest new-capital buyer of ETH.
