BitMine discloses $9.9B in assets, adds 50,928 ETH as Executive Chairman calls market 'mini crypto winter'
BitMine reported on March 2 that its combined cryptocurrencies, cash and high-risk investment projects are valued at $9.9 billion, with its crypto portfolio as of 14:00 Eastern Time on March 1, 2026, including 4,473,587 ETH, 195 BTC, $200 million in Beast Industries equity, $14 million in Eightco Holdings equity and $868 million in cash. Executive Chairman Thomas "Tom" Lee described the current environment as the latter half of a "mini crypto winter," noting the company recently increased holdings by 50,928 ETH and continues to focus on optimizing yield. As of March 1, BitMine has staked 3,040,483 ETH worth $6 billion, accounting for 68% of its ETH holdings, with a self-operated staking annualized yield of 2.86%, while its "Made in America Validator Network" is planned for deployment in early 2026.
