BitMine buys 127,000 ETH in a week, total holdings rise to 5.544 million
BitMine ramped up its Ethereum accumulation last week, adding 127,000 ETH—its largest weekly purchase in recent periods. As of June 7, 2026, the company's Ethereum position stood at 5.544 million ETH, representing 4.59% of total supply.
BitMine said its combined holdings across cryptocurrency, cash and other investments are worth about $9.6 billion. The portfolio includes $247 million in cash, 204 BTC, $180 million in equity in Beast Industries, and an $88 million stake in Eightco Holdings (ORBS).
The company has staked 4.72 million ETH, more than 85% of its total ETH holdings. Those staked assets are valued at about $7.7 billion and are expected to generate roughly $230 million in annualized staking income.
Tom Lee noted that BitMine had previously been adding about 26,000 ETH per week, and said the latest surge reflects stronger confidence in Ethereum as its fundamentals improve.
