Bitmine Boosts Ethereum Reserves to 5.4M ETH as Tom Lee Reaffirms Crypto Supercycle Thesis
Bitmine Immersion Technologies has expanded its Ethereum reserves to approximately 5.4 million ETH following its largest acquisition of 2026, according to Chairman Tom Lee. During the week ending in late 2026, the company added 111,942 ETH as prices fluctuated between $2,025 and $2,147. Lee reaffirmed his "supercycle" thesis, attributing long-term growth to Wall Street tokenization and the rise of AI-powered agents. Adopting a treasury strategy similar to MicroStrategy, Bitmine aims to control 5% of Ethereum’s circulating supply, requiring an additional 644,000 ETH by year-end. Furthermore, the firm has intensified its staking operations, reporting over $4.7 million in staked ETH with projected annualized revenues of $276 million. This aggressive accumulation underscores Bitmine's commitment to blockchain infrastructure amid market volatility.
