Bitcoin Long-Term Holders Raise Holdings to 14.3 Million BTC, Backing Mid-Cycle Correction View

Bitcoin long-term holders have resumed net accumulation after a period of distribution, raising their combined holdings to about 14.3 million BTC, Bitfinex analysis shows. These holders, typically defined as addresses holding BTC for at least 155 days without major movement, now control roughly 73% of circulating supply, supporting the view that recent volatility reflects a mid-cycle correction rather than a final market top. The exchange notes that accumulation phases by long-term holders in previous bull markets have tended to precede major price rallies by around three to four months.
