Bitcoin Exchange Inflows Hit Multiweek High of 6,100 BTC as Price Holds Above $75,000

Bitcoin deposits to centralized exchanges reached approximately 6,100 BTC per hour on March 16, the highest level since Feb. 20, CryptoQuant data show. Senior analyst Julio Moreno noted that roughly 63% of the hourly volume came from large transactions, suggesting significant activity from whale-linked wallets rather than retail flows. The surge in exchange inflows comes as Bitcoin has gained around 12% in March and set fresh record highs above $75,000, with analysts monitoring indicators such as Exchange Net Flow, funding rates and profit metrics like MVRV and SOPR to assess whether intensified profit-taking could cap the current rally.
