Bitcoin closed 2025 at $87,950, down 7.84% from its $95,432 opening price, HTX data show. The cryptocurrency reached an all-time high of $126,181 on Oct. 7 before a flash crash on Oct. 11 sent BTC toward $80,000, where it stabilized.
