Binance BTC/USDT records $3.422B in 24-hour volume as exchange converts SAFU fund stablecoins to Bitcoin

Binance's BTC/USDT trading pair recorded $3.422B in volume over 24 hours on Jan. 30, official data show. The exchange disclosed plans to convert the SAFU fund's $1B stablecoin reserves into Bitcoin within 30 days, representing roughly 34% of the past day's BTC/USDT turnover. Binance said it will add more BTC to restore the fund to $1B if price fluctuations push its value below $800M.
