ASIC Grants AUDC Pty Ltd AFS Licence, Making AUDD a Regulated Digital Dollar on XRP Ledger

AUDC Pty Ltd has received an Australian Financial Services Licence from Australia's ASIC, designating its AUDD stablecoin as a fully regulated, institutional-grade digital payment instrument on Ripple's XRP Ledger. With this licence, banks and other licensed financial institutions in Australia can legally issue, hold, and transact AUDD, removing earlier legal uncertainty over holding AUD-backed stablecoins onchain. The AUDD token is pegged 1:1 to the Australian dollar and operates not only on the XRP Ledger but also on Ethereum, Stellar, Solana, and Hedera, with the XRPL deployment described as central to its banking-focused use case.
