Ireland-linked "lost" 10-year Bitcoin stash moves again, another 500 BTC (about $38 million) transferred
ME News reported that on May 20 (UTC+8), Arkham monitoring flagged fresh activity from Bitcoin wallets previously thought to be "permanently lost" and tied to Irish drug trafficker Clifton Collins. Collins, a former beekeeper later arrested on drug trafficking charges, is said to have bought roughly $30,000 in Bitcoin between 2011 and 2012—holdings now valued at nearly $400 million.
Because Collins claimed the private keys were lost, the coins had long been viewed as unrecoverable. About a month ago, 500 BTC moved for the first time in a decade. Arkham data now shows another 500 BTC has been transferred, worth around $38 million at current prices. (Source: BlockBeats)
