An address reportedly tied to GameStop transferred 2,396 BTC into a Coinbase Prime hot wallet about 16 hours ago, representing roughly 50% of its total bitcoin holdings, on-chain data show. GameStop purchased 4,710 BTC via Coinbase Prime in May 2025 at prices ranging from $106,000 to $109,000 per bitcoin for a total of around $500 million as part of its corporate treasury reserves. The position currently shows an unrealized loss of roughly $70 million.
