Intercontinental Exchange, the parent of the NYSE, has outlined a blockchain-based platform focused on tokenized securities, onchain delivery‑vs‑payment settlement and 24/7 funding via stablecoins. The effort targets post‑trade processes such as reconciliation and collateral mobility, aiming to cut counterparty risk and operational delays, subject to regulatory approval.

Mortgage lender Better and crypto VC Framework Ventures announced Tuesday a plan to access up to $500 million in financing through the Sky stablecoin ecosystem. The structure channels blockchain-based liquidity into U.S. mortgage originations, with Better designated as a "Star" recipient while continuing underwriting and loan processing.

Stablecoin issuers are poised to become major buyers of short‑dated U.S. Treasuries, potentially adding $0.8T–$1T of demand by 2028. Market capitalization is projected to approach $2T, with reserve requirements under the July 2025 GENIUS Act concentrating assets in 0–3 month T‑bills. Emerging‑market adoption is expected to drive most of the expansion.

Digital asset firm New Frontier Labs has selected BitGo Bank & Trust National Association, part of crypto infrastructure company BitGo, to issue and custody the FYUSD dollar-pegged stablecoin for institutional investors in Asia. FYUSD follows the GENIUS Act framework, including 1:1 backing with cash or short-term US Treasurys and AML/KYC controls, and is supported by Fypher tools that enable programmable settlement for AI-driven commerce.

World Liberty Financial, a Trump-linked crypto firm, plans to issue tokens tied to loan-revenue interests for the Trump International Hotel and Resort Maldives, with completion targeted for 2030. The product offers accredited investors exposure to projected interest payments through Securitize’s regulated digital securities infrastructure, emphasizing private-credit style cashflows over real estate ownership.
