A cross-chain bridge connecting Coinbase's Base network and Solana went live on mainnet Thursday. The infrastructure enables direct asset transfers between the Ethereum layer-2 network and Solana's blockchain using dual verification from Chainlink CCIP and Coinbase operators. The deployment supports movement of SOL and SPL tokens into Base applications including Zora, Aerodrome, and Virtuals.

21Shares has launched a leveraged exchange-traded fund for Sui on Nasdaq, trading under the ticker TXXS. The fund offers 2x daily exposure to the Layer-1 blockchain asset. This marks the first leveraged ETF tied to the Sui ecosystem available on a major U.S. exchange.

Security researchers at Ledger have identified a permanent vulnerability in MediaTek's Dimensity 7300 chip affecting multiple Android devices, including the Solana Seeker. The flaw exists in the chip's boot ROM and cannot be fixed through software updates. Attackers could exploit the vulnerability through electromagnetic fault injection to gain complete device control, according to the research team.
