Neutron Blockchain Enters Long-Term Maintenance Mode, Hadron Labs to Maintain Network Until June 2026
Neutron blockchain has entered long-term maintenance mode due to deteriorating market conditions and the absence of a viable development path or buyer, the project announced. Hadron Labs will maintain the network until June 30, 2026, after which continued operation will depend on community support, while Fireblocks will end its support for Neutron in April 2026. The project halted new deposits to Supervaults and DEXs on March 16 and will fully suspend them by April 17, will open dNTRN redemptions on March 23, and requires wstETH holders to bridge their assets back to Ethereum by June 30, with NTRN redemption details to be disclosed separately. Neutron's governance and tokenomics will be streamlined to align with the standard Cosmos chain framework, and any remaining assets after the foundation's liquidation will be returned to the DAO.
