Ethereum Developers Consider Raising Gas Limit to 80 Million
Ethereum core developers are considering a proposal to raise the network gas limit to 80 million per block following the next hard fork to adjust blob parameters, according to a report by Cointelegraph. The change would increase the amount of computation that can be included in each block and follows earlier scalability efforts, including the Dencun upgrade, which introduced blob-based data handling on the network.
