Crypto Market Liquidations Hit $105M in 12 Hours, Shorts Account for $72M

Cryptocurrency markets saw $105 million in liquidations over a 12-hour period on Oct. 31, with short positions accounting for $72.31 million and long positions for $32.28 million, Coinglass data show. Over 24 hours, 217,450 traders were liquidated with combined losses reaching $870 million. The largest single liquidation occurred on Hyperliquid's BTC-USD pair, valued at $21.43 million.
