Bitcoin fell below $82,000 to $81,965 and Ether dropped below $2,800 to $2,725 over the past 24 hours, reflecting declines of 7.54% and 9.01% respectively, according to market data cited by Wu Blockchain. Data from derivatives analytics platform Coinglass shows that approximately $778 million in positions, mainly longs, were liquidated in the past hour, with total liquidations over the past 24 hours reaching about $1.74 billion across 275,165 traders. The largest single reported liquidation was an $80.58 million BTC-USDT position on the HTX exchange.
