BitMine's staked ETH tops 3.33M, valued at about $7.1B

BitMine said that as of April 5, 2026, it had staked 3,334,637 ETH. At an implied price of roughly $2,123 per ETH, the position is valued at around $7.1 billion and represents a sizable share of the firm's approximately 4.5 million total ETH holdings. The company's staking balance has surged since the start of the year, rising from about 659,000 ETH in early January to 3.33 million ETH. After hovering near 3.04 million ETH from February through March, staking volumes picked up again. On performance, the Composite Ethereum Staking Rate (CESR) stands at about 2.74%. BitMine's trailing 7-day staking yield is around 2.78%, slightly above the market average. Market observers said the continued build-up underscores a yield-focused allocation strategy, aiming to balance on-chain income with long-term ETH holdings.
