Over $8.8 Billion in BTC and ETH Options Expire Jan. 17

More than $8.8 billion in crypto options are set to expire on Jan. 17, Deribit data show. Bitcoin options account for about $7.8 billion in notional value with a put/call ratio of 0.76 and maximum pain at $75,000, while Ethereum options total roughly $961 million with a put/call ratio of 0.77 and maximum pain at $2,200. Calls outnumber puts for both assets, with BTC carrying the larger notional value ahead of settlement.
