Buterin's Strawmap Targets 2s Slots, 6–16s Finality; On-Chain Sales Reach 17,196 ETH

Vitalik Buterin said Ethereum's "Strawmap" aims to cut slot time from 12 seconds to 2 seconds and achieve 6–16-second finality using post-quantum hash-based signatures. Lookonchain data, citing Arkham, show he sold 17,196 ETH ($34.96 million) since the beginning of February, surpassing his January allocation of 16,384 ETH by 4.9%.
