US Senators Bill Cassidy and Cynthia Lummis introduced the Mined in America Act, which would create a certification for data centers that avoid equipment from “foreign adversaries.” The proposal seeks to shift chip and mining-rig production to the US and would also link a Strategic Bitcoin Reserve to coins mined at certified facilities.
