Over 40% of Quarterly Options Open Interest Clustered at $75,000 Strikes, Greeks.live Analyst Says
Quarterly options expiring at the end of March now account for more than 40% of total open interest, with single $75,000 call option contracts alone exceeding 5% of open interest, Greeks.live researcher Adam said on March 16. He noted the current gamma walls and gamma concentration show a highly aligned market stance around $75,000. Adam added that when positioning becomes this one-sided, it can either push prices collectively toward that target or lead to a sharp reversal.
