Vitalik Buterin Recasts Ethereum L2s as L1 Expands; Spot ETFs Log $14M Net Inflow

Vitalik Buterin urged a rethink of Ethereum's layer-2 role as Layer 1 throughput expands and fees fall. Spot Ethereum ETFs showed a net inflow of about $14 million after several days of outflows, led by BlackRock's ETHA fund, while mainnet activity has picked up. He argued L2s' value will shift away from simply supplying block space.
