Tether debuts USA₮, a U.S.-regulated stablecoin, targeting USDC's $72 billion market

Tether launched USA₮, a dollar-backed stablecoin issued by Anchorage Digital Bank, N.A., and built to operate under the GENIUS Act. U.S. users can access it via Bybit, Crypto.com, Kraken, OKX, and MoonPay. The move positions Tether against Circle's USDC at $72 billion, alongside USDT's $186 billion global scale.
