Ripple unlocks 1B XRP in monthly escrow release as burn option remains open

Ripple completed its latest monthly escrow cycle by unlocking 1 billion XRP in three transfers valued at more than $1.33 billion. The moves included 500 million XRP (~$666 million), 400 million XRP (~$533 million), and 100 million XRP (~$133 million), while executives said permanently destroying the remaining escrow has not been ruled out.
