Ripple Seeks to Unite XRP, XRP Ledger and RLUSD in Single Institutional Payments Platform
On March 10, 2026, Ripple's Middle East & Africa Managing Director Reece Merrick said the company aims to serve banks and fintechs with a unified payments platform that integrates XRP, XRP Ledger and its RLUSD stablecoin. He noted that Ripple has processed over $100 billion across more than 60 markets, supports 51 real-time payment rails and holds over 75 licenses, while targeting African partners like Chipper Cash, Yellow Card and VALR to expand RLUSD's role in cross-border transactions.
