Q4 2025 saw 8.7M Ethereum smart contracts deployed, setting new ATH

Smart contract deployments on Ethereum reached an all-time high of 8.7 million in Q4 2025. The quarter also brought increased on-chain activity and a near 27.6% drop in ETH price, while active addresses rose year-to-date. Market flows and developer momentum continued to expand across DeFi and Layer 2 ecosystems.
