Flare Expands FXRP to Yellow Network After Chris Larsen Leads $10M Funding Round

Flare Network has announced that FXRP, its wrapped version of XRP, will be integrated with Yellow Network to enhance XRP's decentralized finance use cases. Yellow Network, which operates as a Layer-3 clearing protocol and received a $10 million seed investment led by Ripple co-founder Chris Larsen in September 2024, is expected to offer fast and low-cost trading while aggregating liquidity across chains. FXRP supply on Flare has already exceeded 132 million tokens, with most deployed in DeFi protocols, and Flare's CEO foresees the value of XRP on Flare reaching $1 billion, supported by integrations with Yellow and Coinbase's Base network.
