Ethereum’s DeFi TVL share slips to about 54% as rivals gain ground

Ethereum’s share of total DeFi TVL has eased to roughly 54% this month, down from 63.5% at the start of 2025, while its TVL remains about $45.4 billion. ETH was trading near $2,314, up 1.5% on the day, even as wallets holding 1,000–10,000 ETH cut combined holdings by around 21.5% since October 2025.
