ETH Whale Holdings Drop 21.5% as Ethereum Struggles to Reclaim $3,000

Ethereum is still more than 53% below its August 2025 peak of $4,950, with repeated advances capped around $2,400. On-chain figures show whales holding 1,000–10,000 ETH cut their combined balance from 15.95 million to 12.52 million, a 21.5% decline. Spot Ethereum ETFs posted over $355 million of net inflows in April and roughly $170 million more in early May, but year-to-date flows remain negative and cumulative net inflows sit just over $12 billion versus about $15 billion in early October.
