BlackRock Registers Staked Ethereum ETF Name in Delaware

BlackRock has registered a name in Delaware for a staked Ethereum exchange-traded fund, completing an initial procedural requirement for potential U.S. market entry. The asset manager, which oversees $13.5 trillion, already operates the iShares Ethereum Trust ETF (ETHA), which has attracted approximately $13.1 billion in inflows since July 2024. The Delaware filing does not guarantee regulatory approval, and BlackRock must submit a full registration statement to the Securities and Exchange Commission before formal review can begin.
