Aztec Network deployed its Ignition Chain on Ethereum mainnet on November 19, 2025, positioning it as the first fully decentralized Layer-2 network with programmable privacy capabilities. The network secured over 500 validator registrations at launch, meeting the threshold required for block production. The deployment follows the initiation of Aztec's AZTEC token sale, which began days earlier and attracted approximately $2.5 million across 2,088 bids from nearly 2,000 participants.
