Amazon announces more than $35 billion India AI investment plan for 2030

Amazon said at its Amazon Smbhav Summit in New Delhi on December 10, 2025 that it plans to invest more than $35 billion in India by 2030, focusing on AI infrastructure, export growth and jobs. An Economic Impact Report by Keystone Strategy cites more than 12 million small businesses digitized in India and 2.8 million jobs facilitated in 2024. Amazon has also recently earmarked $12.7 billion for data centers in the states of Telangana and Maharashtra.
