Meta enables USDC payouts for creators through Solana and Polygon wallets

Meta is rolling out a new payout option that lets creators receive earnings in USDC, with withdrawals available directly to wallets on Solana or Polygon, Odaily Planet Daily reported. Creators can connect encrypted wallets such as MetaMask and Phantom to receive funds. The payouts are processed via Stripe, which may also provide crypto-related tax reporting support. Meta cautioned that stablecoin payments involve inherent risks and said users are responsible for protecting their accounts and wallets. The company added that it may use alternative payout methods to complete settlements if technical issues or other special circumstances arise. Meta has previously been reported to be planning a broader expansion of its stablecoin-related business this year.
