Bitcoin’s pullback has revived debate over downside risk, with estimates placing a 25% chance of a drop below $50,000 from near $63,000. Additional probabilities include 60% for a break under $60,000 and 45% for slipping beneath $55,000, while 40% suggests holding above $60,000 in the near term. At press time, BTC traded at $63,048.

Since February 2, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has sold 10,723 ETH worth about $21.7 million while ETH hovers near the $1,825 support area. These sales, including 3,765 ETH offloaded between February 21 and February 24, come amid a 38% monthly price drop and a confirmed bearish chart structure. Analysts note that a decisive move below $1,800 could open a path toward the $1,500 region unless bulls reclaim levels above $2,150.

On February 24, chart data shared by Bitcoinsensus showed the BTC-to-gold ratio sliding into a long-standing support area. The ratio has revisited levels last seen in March 2023 and sits under 25% above its 2022 bear market lows. Bitcoin traded at $63,020.77, down 5% daily and 7.1% weekly, per CoinGecko.

On February 20, 2025, Pi Network launched its Open Network; on February 24, 2026, it marked the first anniversary and shared 16.2M mainnet migrations and 17.7M KYC users, according to Pi Core Team. Pi Coin is at $0.1622, close to the all-time low near $0.13, after falling more than 8% over the past week amid community calls to resolve core issues.

On February 23, 2026, the Coinbase Bitcoin premium moved back above zero after spending most of the month negative since heavy selling on February 6. Market data showed BTC around $66,150 on Binance futures with a 0.40% hourly uptick, while spot was near $65,070 and down roughly 3% for the day.

On February 24, Glassnode said its 90‑day SMA of Bitcoin's Realized Profit/Loss Ratio slipped below 1, marking loss‑dominant selling. The firm noted that such breakdowns have often persisted for six months or longer before liquidity returns. Bitcoin traded near $63,200, down 3.6% on the day and almost 29% over a month.

Bitcoin is approaching a major bearish "death cross" on its three-day chart around February 27, with the 50-day SMA set to cross below the 200-day SMA as the asset trades near $63,158. The cryptocurrency has already dropped more than 52% from its October 2025 high above $110,000 to around $68,000, and analysts warn that historical patterns point to further potential downside toward $40,000 or even $30,000. Recent selling has pushed BTC below the $60,000 support and under both key moving averages, with broader risk-off sentiment and leverage unwinds adding pressure.

On February 10, 2026, XRP Ledger active addresses peaked at 32,684; by February 24 they fell to 14,551, a 55% drop. Active addresses are a key engagement indicator, and the slump coincides with whales moving over 31 million XRP to Binance while price trades near $1.33, raising the risk of a move below $1.

On Feb. 24, trader Cheds Trading posted a weekly DOGE/USD chart on X and said DOGE "looks headed for 6 cents .06 range." The screenshot shows price at $0.09135, below EMA 8 $0.10823, SMA 200 $0.13578, EMA 34 $0.15734 and SMA 50 $0.17912, with Bollinger Bands basis $0.13861 and lower at $0.07328.

On February 23, 2026, Step Finance announced an immediate shutdown after a late‑January breach, with SolanaFloor and Remora Markets also winding down. The hack reportedly drained over 260,000 SOL; STEP plunged nearly 100%, while Remora's rTokens remain redeemable for USDC. SOL slid below $77 amid negative funding and bearish derivatives positioning.
